It was 1915 when Heinrich Boker & Co. Solingen received the government order to develop a compact fighting knife that would be especially useful for trench warfare. After 90 years, we are reproducting the ordiginal knife blade out of carbon steel. The pronounced steel crossguard, the wood handle, (designed for a firm and safe grip), and the official tang stamp are identical to the original. On the back of the blade, each knife shows its serial number. Blade length: 5 5/8'. Overall length: 10-Inch. Weight: 5.9 oz.
